Melanie graduated from Liverpool 1983. She worked as a senior NHS clinician before establishing Woolton Physiotherapy in 1991.
She has continued to expand her expertise gaining membership of The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture Association (AACP) and has a diploma in injection therapy.
Melanie uses her specialist skills across a wide range of conditions and has a wide and varied client base.
Melanie also manages the Physiotherapy Services for Merseyside Police and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
Her main concern is to maintain Woolton Physiotherapy as a clinic of excellence where patients receive the best possible treatment with care and respect.
Melanie also manages the physiotherapy services for Liverpool City Council, Knowsley Borough Council and Merseyside Police Authority.
Jo graduated in 1996 from Liverpool.
She is a senior paediatric physiotherapist at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and has worked part-time at Woolton Physiotherapy for the past eight years.
She has a special interest in acupuncture and has attended many advanced acupuncture courses covering a wide range of conditions. Jo has a special interest and is qualified to treat IVF related issues.
Sharon graduated in 2001 from Glasgow Caledonian University.
She is working part time at Woolton Physiotherapy Clinic and treats a wide and varied range of conditions.
She is dedicated to her profession and has attended a number of musculoskeletal and women's health courses.
Sharon has successfully passed all exams to become a member of the manipulative association of chartered physiotherapists (MACP).
Chris graduated in 1997 from Bristol. He has worked in Swansea, St Helens and Ormskirk.
His main area of work are all musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including stroke rehabilitation.
Chris has worked for Woolton Physiotherapy Clinic for seven years and is a valuable member of the team. He heads up the team at Victoria Physiotherapy Clinic.
Bill graduated from Bradford University 2001.
He works within the NHS and part time at Woolton and Victoria Physiotherapy Clinics.
Bill has practical experience in a wide range of physiotherapy skills including Mulligan, Maitland and Cyriax techniques. He enjoys working with patients no matter how challanging and/or complex their conditions.
Helen graduated from Salford University in 2002 and has worked in both the NHS and privately.
She currently works as a specialist physiotherapist at The Walton Centre NHS foundation trust in the musculoskeletal and chronic pain fields.
She has a special interest in the management of chronic pain conditions in particular spinal complaints. She is qualified in the treatment of acupuncture for musculoskeletal disorders. She is currently studying a masters degree in Advanced Physiotherapy.
Joe qualified from the University of Teeside in 2003 when he secured a post at Whiston Hospital.
He has specialised in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions over the past 4 years and has a keen interest in sports injuries/rehabilitation.
Joe is also in his 3rd season working with Manchester United on a part time basis working as an Academy Physiotherpist.
Joe plays for a local Liverpool football team and is a keen golfer.
Claire graduated from Liverpool University in 2003.
Claire is a student clinical educator and as such has attended many courses.
She is due to complete her masters degree in 2009.
Claire enjoys all areas of physiotherapy and enjoys teaching students and organising their placements. Claire loves to travel and keeps fit by playing tennis and going to the gym.
Fiona graduated from Liverpool University in 2002.
She has since worked within the NHS, initially at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and currently with Knowsley PCT.
She has specialised within the out-patient musculoskeletal field over the last three years, assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions. She plays an active part in continuing her professional development through courses and training days. Fiona has a keen interest in all sports and particularly enjoys long distance running.
Paula graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2002.
She has extensive NHS and private practise experience and now specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
Paula is an active professional, keeping up to date with new developments and is currently studying for a masters degree in Advanced Physiotherapy.
She also has a special interest in Pilates and acupuncture.
Paula plays hockey for a local Liverpool team and likes to keep fit by running and going to the gym.
Claire qualified from The University of Liverpool in 2000.
She has gained extensive exerperience treating musculoskeletal disorders working as a senior physiotherapist in the NHS and at a sports injuries clinic.
She has a special interest in muscle imbalance and core stability retraining and is a registered Kinetic Control Movement Therapist.
She also practices acupuncture and manual therapy. Claire takes a keen interest in continuing professional development and is currently working towards a masters degree.
Cliona graduated from the University of Teeside in 2006.
She works as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with Knowsley PCT.
She is studying for an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy.
Cliona also has a keen interest in all sports and attends the gym.
Jane graduated from Liverpool in 1989.
Since qualifying she has worked both in the NHS and privately, specialising in community paediatics, musculoskeletal conditions and accupuncture, with 20 years of experience in various hospitals, outpatient departments, sports clubs, community and GP practices.
She continues an active interest in sports such as running, swimming and netball.
